Get Ready for 2025: FBA Inbound Placement Service Fee Updates

What’s New?
In 2025, Amazon is lowering its inbound placement fees for large bulky-size products by an average of $0.58 per unit for minimal shipment splits. But that's not all! For new parent ASINs, there's a huge incentive:
- Waived Fees: The inbound placement service fee will be waived for eligible new parent ASINs enrolled in the FBA New Selection Program, if your shipments are created between December 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.
- This means you can send your products without the inbound placement fee for the first 100 units per new ASIN! 😱
How Does It Work?
When creating your shipping plan, you can choose one of the following inbound placement options:
- Minimal Shipment Splits: Send your inventory to the fewest number of inbound locations (usually one), for a small fee.
- Partial Shipment Splits: Send your inventory to two or three locations at a reduced fee.
- Amazon-Optimized Shipment Splits: Send your inventory to multiple locations with no fee, but your shipments need to meet specific packing criteria (e.g., identical cartons, 5 or more identical units per carton).
Each option is designed to meet different needs based on your products’ size, quantity, and shipping location.
How You Can Benefit
